South Florida does food right, and brunch is no exception
Here’s a quick list of brunch places that you’ll love and you can impress your out-of-town guests with depending on what you’re looking for.
- SWANKY: Etaru Las Olas – starting 8/19, this upscale Japanese eatery starts Sunday brunch with a $55-per-person deal (plus tax and tip) with bottomless wine options and feature some eclectic food options you won’t find at your average brunch like salmon teriyaki or glazed pork ribs. Because it’s Japanese and swanky, you can also get the trending A5 Wagyu beef ($30) and make all your friends jealous.
- CLASSIC: If you like hearty food that will please everyone, Kristof’s Kafe is your go-to. This is salt-of-the-earth proper breakfast food like loaded waffles, great Benedict and the world-famous Not-So-Benedict which is a gut-punching mountain of food.
- CHILL: Beach House Pompano is a gorgeous oceanfront restaurant near the Pompano Pier. They have bottomless Negronis or mimosas for $20 and the menu has all the favorites like French toast or crab cake Benedict for $15. Sunday brunch starts at 10am and they don’t take reservations so get there early and avoid the wait.
