The corner of University and Sample Road in Coral Springs is getting an injection of new development.
What local officials believe to be the future Coral Springs downtown, developers plan to raze the aging building and make room for a new twin apartment towers, a hotel and movie theater.
The $200 million project, dubbed the Cornerstone Downtown Coral Springs will be built on nearly 8 acres next to city hall.
