The event starting November 1st is expected to bring in around $857 million for the state
$283 million of that is generated in Broward County alone.
“From an economic impact point of view, it’s the annual Super Bowl for us,” said Stacy Ritter, president and CEO of the Greater Fort Lauderdale Convention & Visitors Bureau.
The Fort Lauderdale boat show isn’t just a big event, it’s the largest boat show in the world, attracting over 110,000 visitors to view over $4 billion of inventory such as mega yachts, offshore boats, marine technology and much more.
This year, with consumer confidence at an all-time high it’s expected to be even bigger.
