The Beach Boys Plaza hotel could be one of the last large developments to happen on A1A
It’s called the Beach Boys Plaza hotel, and it’s being proposed for one of the last vacant lots on A1A beachfront just South of Las Olas boulevard.
However, a little-known law could actually make the Beach Boys Plaza development one of the last on Fort Lauderdale Beach. The law is about traffic, and it only allows a certain amount to be permitted on a daily basis. The Beach Boys development would put the traffic within 2% of it’s cap, essentially removing the possibility for any new large developments any time soon.
