Lunchroom in taps into the niche sandwich shop experience found in NY and Portland
It’s called Lunchroom, and there’s now two locations in Fort Lauderdale.
If you’re Canadian you’ll feel a little at-home with some menu offerings like brisket poutine – and for the uninitiated, poutine is basically the best loaded fries you’ll ever have.
Other menu items include hand-made pop-tarts and a spaghetti grilled-cheese which is exactly what it sounds like.
Founder Elliot Wolf was influenced by some childhood experiences with some similar concepts saying “I can remember getting steak sandwiches from the bus station as a kid. I’ll always remember the way they steamed the bun,”.
