About Venetian Islands Homes

Venetian Islands are a series of artificial islands, between the coasts of Miami and Miami Beach. They are located in Biscayne Bay north of Palm Island, Hibiscus Island and Star Island.
From east to west, the islands are Belle Isle, Rivo Alto Island, Di Lido Island, San Marino Island, San Marco Island, and Biscayne Island. All of them are connected by the Venetian Causeway. The Venetian Islands are home to over 38,606 residents.
The history of the islands goes way back to 1913. The original construction plan included ten islands instead of six, in addition to the longest wooden bridge in the world: Collins Bridge.
Unfortunately, The 1926 Miami Hurricane and the end of the 1920s Florida land boom stopped the project, and the original wooden causeway was replaced with the Venetian Causeway.
Today, Venetian Islands boasts a variety of beautifully landscaped, waterfront homes complemented with the most with lavish details and finishes. They include spa-like bathrooms, pools, patios and terraces, open floor plans, cabanas, and many other amenities to make residents feel at home. Additionally, Venetian Islands homes offer spectacular views of Biscayne Bay and the Miami skyline. Homebuyers can also choose between Mediterranean and Contemporary inspired homes.
Venetian Islands have a high concentration of wealthy residents and celebrities. The ultra-upscale neighborhood is filled with fantastic waterfront homes, stunning bay views, and a charming feel.
If you live in one of the Venetian Islands homes for sale, there is no shortage of fun things to do. You can head to South Beach for a beach day and relish the pristine waters and the year-round sunshine, or enjoy the various shops and vibrant nightlife.
And if you are a golf enthusiast, Venetian Islands is within proximity to Miami Beach Golf Club, La Gorce Golf Course, two of the most prime golfing clubs in Florida.
