The new cocktail bar requires a passcode to get in, and promises a unique experience like no other
It’s a clandestine experience – and you need to know where to find the door. It’s above the Brass Tap Fort Lauderdale and there’s only one way to get in: know the password.
It’s called Unit B, and it’s inspired by other speakeasys from old New York and Chicago.
“I love and admire speakeasy [concepts] like Raines Law Room in New York and Bordel in Chicago. New York and Chicago have a lot of amazing authentic cocktail bars, and I wanted to bring the same level of authenticity and over the top artisan cocktails to South Florida,” says Unit B owner and creator Mat Baum.
Open from 6 p.m. to 2 a.m. Thursday through Saturday, and you’ll need to know the password to punch-in on the keypad to the entrance.
