The Starlight Musicals, sponsored by Bank of America, take place 7-10 p.m. each Friday through Aug. 9 at Holiday Park, located at the confluence of Sunrise Boulevard and Federal Highway. Admission is free, as is parking.

June 7: Mikey’s Hotswing Latin Band, an eight-piece (with horns) from Miami, salsa, merengue and bachata a specialty

June 21: Valerie Tyson Band, popular R&B group who give a personal spin to music by the Staples Singers, Kool & the Gang and Beyonce

Aug. 9: Brass Evolution, horn-inspired classic rock from the Chicago/Blood, Sweat and Tears school
